July Music Festivals in Mammoth Lakes
Mammoth Jazzfest & Villagefest
Mammoth Jazzfest has combined with Mammoth Villagefest for a full weekend of outdoor fun. Both these events have been a cornerstone of the Mammoth Lakes summer social scene for years. The free events are held in The Village at Mammoth each summer. Friday night festivities include a wine walk (ticketed) through The Village at Mammoth with a side of jazz music. Tickets for the wine walk can be purchased in advance or at the event.
Then on Saturday and Sunday, a variety of new acts will take the stage. In addition to music throughout the day, the event offers a wide selection of food and drink. Plus, attendees can enjoy fun activities throughout the day.
Mammoth Reggae Festival
Visit Mammoth Lakes in late July and take advantage of three days of free music and fun at the Mammoth Reggae Festival. The festival takes place in the Village at Mammoth, where you’ll have access to food, drinks and good vibes. Between sets, browse the vendor stalls for crafts, specialty foods and other offerings.
August Music Festivals in Mammoth Lakes
Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza
The Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza is an event Mammoth Lakes locals and visitors alike plan their summers around. Music begins on Thursday evening and runs through Sunday, with a huge line up of acts taking the stage throughout the weekend.
Mammoth Rocks & Taste of the Sierra
Late summer is the season of rock in Mammoth Lakes. Mammoth Rocks & Taste of the Sierra takes place in the Village at Mammoth and is free to the public. See performances by classic rock tribute bands, playing music from the 70s, 80s and 90s. While you’re enjoying the music, sample a variety of food and drink from local restaurants and breweries.
September Music Festivals in Mammoth Lakes
Mammoth Rock N Rye
Then over Labor Day Weekend, Mammoth Rock N Rye takes over the Village at Mammoth with even more rock music. Entertainment runs Friday through Sunday. Past lineups have included Reverend Tall Tree, Young Dubliners, Cashed Out and more.
But music isn’t the only excitement happening at the festival. Whiskey and rye tastings (ticketed) open up Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
