Walking into Mammoth Rock ‘n’ Bowl for the first time, you’ll immediately think, “This is not Mom and Dad’s old bowling alley.” Gone are memories of dark, old lanes and the smell of greasy fast food. With its sleek, unassuming exterior, you might even wonder if Mammoth Rock ‘n’ Bowl is a bowling alley at all. It sure is, but that’s not all. MRB is a modern entertainment complex with an upscale restaurant, lounge and two full bars. It’s new, it’s alive and you’ll feel the vibe. It’s the kind of place you might find in San Francisco or New York, but in Mammoth Lakes?

With a picturesque location and unobstructed views of the Sherwin Range, this is definitely Mammoth. Starting with 12 state-of-the-art lanes complete with HD video screens, you can bowl without ever missing a moment of that important sporting event. Better yet, play under the black lights on some nights with “Cosmic Bowling.” Adjacent to the lanes, you’ll find foosball, darts, ping pong and an extensive bar area that hosts DJ music functions and special events. Outside, seasonal games like horseshoes and bocce ball are in full swing during daylight hours.

Be sure to wander upstairs (and if you haven’t yet, check out the view), where you’ll find the Mammoth Rock Brasserie. With its eclectic rotating menu selections, you’ll be wowed by Chef Frederic Pierrel’s daily fresh creations. Fine cuisine, an extensive list of wines and spirits, majestic views with outdoor seating (weather permitting)—this is one place you shouldn’t miss. And it’s kid-friendly, too!

Just steps from the restaurant, you’ll find the only high-definition golf simulators for more than 100 miles. Weather’s no issue here. You can practice your swings on a host of world-class courses even during the worst winter blizzard. Adjacent to the Golf Center is a well-stocked Pro Shop, where you can find everything from the “loudest” golf clothes to custom-fitted bowling balls.
