Once you land at the Mammoth Yosemite Airport (10 minutes outside of town) or in Bishop (45 minutes south of Mammoth Lakes) these airport transportation and rental car options make getting into town quick and easy.

Rental Cars at MMH

Enterprise Rent-a-Car and National Car Rental operate out of MMH.

Many vehicles can accommodate ski and snowboard gear, but winter driving conditions may require AWD or 4WD, and these vehicles should be reserved at least 72 hours in advance. In general, we recommend making reservations early.

Shuttles & Taxis at Mammoth Yosemite Airport

At Mammoth Yosemite Airport, you'll find a variety of transportation options to take you into Mammoth Lakes. Choose private or shared rides to anywhere in town. Return service from Mammoth Lakes to the airport is also available. Service is limited, so advanced reservations are recommended.

Eastern Sierra Transit now offers a specific Flyer Service at just $10 a seat with a schedule timed around arriving and departing flights. Mammoth Taxi offers both shared and private SUV airport transportation. Shared services start at $30.00 per person for transportation between Mammoth Yosemite Airport and Mammoth Lakes. Private SUV services start at $100.00 for each transfer. Mammoth Taxi is also the transportation provider for the Advanced Airlines Diversion program in case the flights get diverted to Bishop. Please book your ground transportation on their website at least two days before your travel dates. Their most current rates, schedule and offerings can be found on the Mammoth Taxi website.
