Rates & booking notes

With MAWS Transportation, seats on a shared shuttle can be booked for $65 each way ($130 round trip). Private shuttles are also available for groups of up to 5, 11 or 25 guests. Reserve your shared or private shuttle on the MAWS website.

Mammoth Taxi offers both Shared and Private SUV airport transportation. Shared services start at $30.00 per person for transportation between Mammoth Yosemite Airport and Mammoth Lakes. Private SUV services start at $100.00 for each transfer. Mammoth Taxi is also the transportation provider for the Advanced Airlines Diversion program in case the flights get diverted to Bishop. Many rental vehicles can accommodate ski and snowboard gear. Winter driving conditions may require chains, snow-rated tires or AWD/4WD—so advance reservations and gear requests are recommended for winter visits.

• Book transfers in advance during winter weekends and holidays. Demand for shuttles and taxis increases significantly during peak ski periods, so reserving ahead helps avoid long wait times.
• If you plan to ski the same day you arrive, choose morning flights. Morning arrivals line up well with shuttle schedules and give you time to check in, pick up rentals, and get on the mountain the same afternoon.
• Traveling with ski/snowboard gear? Confirm space during booking. Most shuttles and private drivers accommodate winter equipment, but availability can vary depending on group size and luggage.
• Check pet policies before arrival. Some services are pet-friendly, while others require advance notice or have carrier/weight guidelines.
• Your lodging may offer airport pickup. Several hotels and resorts provide scheduled transfer service—worth checking when you finalize accommodations.
