Overview
The OCR World Championships (OCRWC), the pinnacle event of championship obstacle course racing, known for pushing boundaries and uniting obstacle course enthusiasts from around the globe, is set to return to the stunning landscapes of Mammoth on October 4-6, with an all-new course. The event will feature five challenging distances designed to test competitors' strength, endurance, and agility, reaffirming its status as the premier obstacle course racing championship.
Mammoth Participant Highlights:
- Participants will encounter a variety of race distances throughout the weekend, ranging from the lightning-fast 100m sprint to the classic 15km distance, all set with the scenic backdrop of Mammoth Lakes. Additionally, athletes have the option to participate in the swift 3k sprint or the popular three-person team event.
- Athletes can select from three distinct race categories to challenge themselves. Qualify for the highly competitive "pro" category for a chance at a piece of the impressive prize purse. Alternatively, participants can compete in the Age Group category to go toe-to-toe with their peers, or take on the Journeyman challenge, offering an opportunity for the most-dedicated OCR enthusiasts to conquer the ultimate Championship OCR course.
- Attendees are invited to join the open and non-competitive Sunday Charity 5k for a fun-filled experience with friends and family, adding to the excitement of the weekend's festivities.
- The event will feature special celebrations throughout the weekend as it commemorates a decade of global championship obstacle course racing, highlighting unforgettable moments and memories.
