How do you get to Rainbow Falls?
During summer, visitors must park at Mammoth Mountain Main Lodge and ride the mandatory Reds Meadow Shuttle to Stop #9, then hike about 1.5 miles to the falls. Always check the NPS and USFS websites directly for the most current access information before you go.
Is there water available on the trail to Rainbow Falls?
No. There is no drinking water at the trailhead or along the trail, so bring enough for the full round-trip hike.
