Shuttle Access and Practical Info

During the summer months, personal vehicles are not permitted past the Mammoth Mountain Main Lodge. You will need to park at the base area and ride the mandatory Reds Meadow Shuttle to Stop #9 to reach the trailhead.

Vault restrooms and trash bins are available at the trailhead and shuttle stops, but there is no drinking water on site, so you must bring your own. Dogs are welcome on the trail if they are kept on a leash at all times, and they are allowed on the shuttle bus provided they wear a muzzle. Due to the cold temperatures and strong currents, please stay on the designated trails and avoid swimming near the falls.
