Halloween Celebrations in Mammoth Lakes
This year, celebrate Halloween in the mountains, where you’ll get the real deal when it comes to crisp fall weather plus costume parties hosted by the experts in apres-ski. From adult costume parties and Halloween bar crawls to a kid-friendly carnival, Mammoth Lakes has Halloween celebrations for all ages.
Here’s a look at what’s on the calendar for Halloween in Mammoth Lakes this year.
Skiing (in Costume!) at Mammoth Mountain
It’s not every year that you can ski at Mammoth Mountain on Halloween! With early-season snow and opening day at Mammoth Mountain bumped up to October 29, this Halloween Weekend is all about shredding (and the apres-ski costume parties, of course). Opening Weekend is always all about the crazy ski attire to kick off the season. But this year costumes are going to be next-level!
Mammoth Mountain is hosting a weekend-long Halloween costume on the slopes. Wear your costume when you’re skiing this weekend and post a photo to your public Instagram feed and tag #MammothsOpen and @MammothMountain for a chance to win prizes. The winners will be announced on November 1.
