This year, celebrate Halloween in the mountains, where you’ll get the real deal when it comes to crisp fall weather plus costume parties hosted by the experts in apres-ski. From adult costume parties and Halloween bar crawls to a kid-friendly carnival, Mammoth Lakes has Halloween celebrations for all ages.

Halloween Parties In Mammoth Lakes
Scary Shakedowns
Dos Alas is hosting its Third Annual Halloween bash, complete with costume contest and live music, from blues- funk band, The Mudd Foote.
Bowling & Beats Halloween
Mammoth Rock N Bowl, along with the Caldera Collective, are hosting a fun night of spooky bowling and beats. Join two live DJs starting at 9 pm to monster mash the night away.
Halloween Crawl
The annual Halloween Costume crawl between Lakanuki and Clocktower Cellar is a ghoulish night your soul can’t afford to miss. The fun begins October 29 at Clocktower Cellar from 7p – 10p, with a costume contest, then later the ghouls will move (10p) to Lakanuki to keep the Haunting going until closing.
Kid-Friendly Halloween Activities
Head to the outdoor skating rink (aka the Mammoth Ice Rink in the winter) for a family-friendly Haunted Party on Wheels. Entry fee for elementary-aged children is only $5.00 (adults are FREE). Celebrate Halloween with spooky fun games, the Husky Club Cake Walk, face painting, and the scariest, cutest, most creative, and funniest Costume Contest ever! Skateboards, balance bikes, scooters, and roller skates/blades are welcome – no skate rentals will be available.
