Mountain Cakery

For dazzling cakes that elicit oohs and aahs, look no further than Mountain Cakery. Owner Michelle Goulet creates works of “edible art” from scratch, using the freshest ingredients available. Wedding cakes are priced per serving, based on your choice of flavor, icing and design. A consultation with Michelle will give you a clearer idea of the actual price, but most cakes fall within $6 to $10 per slice.

Michelle offers everything from blueberry lavender to chocolate salted caramel, and there are gluten-free and vegan options. Many couples choose to do a dessert bar in addition to the traditional cake, and Mountain Cakery can craft a vast spread of pie bars, pastry puffs, mini pies, cookies or chocolate-covered strawberries.

Plan to book with Michelle six to 12 months in advance.

Wedding Cake & Desserts at Mammoth Mountain

When you host your wedding at a Mammoth Mountain wedding venue, you’ll have access to Mammoth Mountain’s full-service catering. While outside cake vendors are welcome at Mammoth Mountain weddings, the on-mountain catering service also offers the options of cupcakes and a cutting cake. Choose from classic flavors, including vanilla or chocolate cake with buttercream frosting, or more unique options, such as a lemon tart cake with meringue frosting.

If you do choose to have an outside vendor provide the cake for your wedding, the catering packages at Mammoth Mountain venues do include cake cutting services.
