Coffee & Tea Shops

Whether you want to start your day with a caffeinated kick or are in search of an afternoon pick-me-up, you’ll find a variety of coffee shops in Mammoth Lakes. Their styles are as diverse as their locally roasted, single-origin, fair-trade beans, so find your favorite and relax with a cup of coffee or tea.

Looney Bean is one of the longest-running local java joints, roasting and serving their own coffees since 1992. Black Velvet Coffee, located in the outlet mall, is a relative newcomer to town but has gained a loyal following for its specialty pour-overs and espresso drinks in a modern-designed space. Or, head to Stellar Brew and Natural Café for coffee and more. Their friendly, funky space serves up coffee, as well as breakfast, lunch and more. There are also two Starbucks in town if you need a venti, half-caff, soy milk latte with a trusty green logo on the cup.
