To keep Mammoth Lakes top of mind on a global level, Mammoth Lakes Tourism invests valuable marketing funds into the marketplace to promote the area. This money is then infused back into the Mammoth Lakes community through visitor spending. Research completed in 2016 shows that for every $1 invested into marketing, $262 are brought into the community through visitor spending.

Mammoth Lakes Tourism utilizes secured funding from the Mammoth Lakes Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID) and unsecured funding from the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) to execute industry best practices, anchored in objective third-party research.
