Community Coffee

On the last Thursday of the month, Mammoth Lakes Tourism, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, hosts a virtual coffee event for the Mammoth Lakes community.

Each community coffee event features a different panel presentation covering timely topics about tourism, business interests or other community-focused subjects.

Upcoming Community Coffee

The next Community Coffee will be on Thursday, October 30 at 8:30am on ZOOM. Because of the ongoing federal government shutdown, we have rescheduled Dawn Johnson’s (NOAA/National Weather Service – Reno) to the November 20 Community Coffee. Instead, Cassidy Moyer, Sustainability Coordinator for Mammoth Disposal and Bishop Waste will speak about the implementation of the single-use plastic water bottle ban that goes into effect January 1 as well as other environmental initiatives. There will also be time for questions.

The Mammoth Lakes Chamber and Mammoth Lakes Tourism teams will also provide updates. Our featured coffee shop this month is Black Velvet Coffee, at both the Main Street and Village locations. We continue to use the Mobilozophy platform to provide a mobile coupon only attendees may redeem for free coffee and tea drinks.
