A one-of-a-kind evening at Canyon Lodge to kick off the holidays. Night of Lights is a free, fun-filled night for all ages with live music, a torchlight parade, kids activities, snowmobiles rides and a firework spectacular that lights up the Sierra sky.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
5pm: Evening Festivities Begin & Food Concessions Open
5–6:30pm: Family Activities Begin. Outdoor: Snowmobile Rides, Tubing, Woolly’s Igloo. Indoor: Face Painting, Balloon Artist, Letters to Santa
5–8pm: Rooftop and Indoor Viewing Areas Open – Click Here to Purchase Tickets
6:45pm: Live Music on the Outdoor Stage
5pm: First Magic Show with Justin Impossible on the Indoor Stage (4th Floor)
6pm: Second Magic Show with Justin Impossible on the Indoor Stage (4th Floor)
6:45pm: Night of Lights Fireworks Spectacular Show
7:15: Premiere of Chris Benchetler’s Fire on the Mountain Movie
7:30pm: On-Snow After Party and Live Music on the Outdoor Stage. Photos with Santa + Woolly on the Indoor Stage (4th Floor)
10pm: Last Gondola Ride to The Village at Mammoth
Event Parking & Transportation
Limited parking is available at Canyon Lodge, all event-goers are encouraged to use free public transportation to get to and from the Night of Lights.
The Village Gondola: The gondola will run until 10PM from The Village Plaza to Canyon Lodge. This option is best for guests staying in or near The Village. Paid parking is available in the parking lot across from The Village.
Special Event Shuttle & Town Trolley: Routes are available for the evening for guests staying a various in-town locations. View the Night of Lights program (below) for a detailed map and schedule.
Park & Ride: Locations will be set up at the Mammoth High School and Juniper Springs Resort/Eagle Lodge. Shuttle buses will run between these locations and Canyon Lodge for the evening.
Rooftop Viewing Area
Take it all in with your friends and family atop the Canyon Lodge roof. Open from 5–8PM and providing prime show viewing. A cash bar and grab-and-go food options will be available for purchase, plus standing room and limited seating. There’s no other place you’d rather be to enjoy the night’s events.
Indoor Viewing Area
Gather with the family for a night of pure magic. Enjoy the Night of Lights show from a warm indoor setting in the Clover Leaf room on the 4th floor of Canyon Lodge, with limited seating provided and room for standing.
