ALLEN BARD CLASSIC XC RACE

A MID-SEASON RACE

Show off your skills and endurance. This classic race is a memorial to local mountaineer Allan Bard and is also a Junior Nationals qualifier. It consists of multiple races, all of which are classic (no skating).

Distances:

• Junior National Qualifier: 7.5km U16 & U18/U20 Juniors. 9:00 AM Girls / 9:45 AM Boys
• 3km U14 & Under Juniors. 10:30 AM Mass Start
• 10km & 20km Adult. 10:45 AM Mass Start

Mammoth Youth Ski Race:

Coming this winter is a brand new event for youth skiers aged 14 and under. This is an exciting addition to the Allan Bard Memorial Race weekend. In addition to the Junior, Senior and Masters distance races on February 5, Tamarack is pleased to add a fun youth-centered race on Saturday, the 4th. The event will be a 2-3km course with some exciting features built into the course. This event is one of Far West’s Youth Cup race series.
