More Adventure, No Hassle: Fly to Mammoth Lakes with JetSuite X

Imagine leaving work Friday afternoon, having dinner in Mammoth Lakes and then tearing up the mountain all day Saturday and Sunday. Ski until the lifts close, enjoy an après-ski beverage and head to the airport satisfied you’ve maximized your time off playing rather than traveling.

Savvy skiers and snowboarders know Mammoth Yosemite Airport (MMH) is the quickest and most convenient way to travel to Mammoth Lakes. Located a few miles from the slopes of Mammoth Mountain, the airport is just a 10-minute scenic drive to downtown Mammoth Lakes. Now, a new service from JetSuite X, an affordable public charter offering flights from Burbank Bob Hope Airport (BUR), makes getting to your winter adventure even faster and easier.

What is JetSuite X?

JetSuite X offers a unique “private for the public” flight service free from the hassles of commercial flights. No membership is required to purchase flights and you’ll experience exceptional guest service aboard luxurious Embraer 135 jets—all at a reasonable price. The aircrafts are configured to seat 30 passengers with roomy leather seats comparable to business class seating on commercial flights. All seats have electrical outlets and all flights offer free WiFi, as well as complimentary snacks, beverages and cocktails. Each flight is staffed by at least one flight attendant and two captain-qualified pilots.

Spend less time at the airport

Their general aviation flights mean no long waits to get through security lines, no taking off your shoes, no long walks through huge airport terminals and no boarding stress. Just arrive 20-30 minutes before your flight. Bring all the gear you require, without having to choose between your fat bike and your powder skis. All passengers are allowed up to 50 pounds of luggage free of charge, with a nominal fee of $50 for luggage in excess of 50 pounds for Xfares customers and no extra baggage charge for Xplus fares customers. Additional luggage should be communicated to JetSuite X at least 48 hours before the flight is scheduled to depart. You can even bring your dog. Pets that can fit under the seat in front of you in a soft-sided, 12” x 12” x 9” carrier are welcome.

Do flights get cancelled due to weather?

Fantastic snow conditions can also cause occasional issues for air travelers to the mountains. If poor weather impacts Mammoth Yosemite Airport, JetSuite X flights can divert to Bishop Airport (BIH) just 40 miles away at a significantly lower altitude. Complimentary shuttle service will then be provided to Mammoth Yosemite Airport and you can make fresh tracks the next morning.

JetSuite X Flight Schedules

Flights between Burbank and Mammoth Lakes run through peak winter season. Check out the schedule for the 2017/18 season, and plan your trip today.
