If your children love mountain biking, swimming, climbing, skateboarding, soccer or tennis, then check out the Mammoth Lakes Parks and Recreation department’s long list of day camps for kids ages 3–14 that are strictly dedicated to fun and leaning.
Space is limited, so find the perfect summer camp for your little mountain-lovers and be ready to sign up when registration opens the first Monday in April.
Mammoth Mountain Summer Camps
If you’re in need of overnight care during your summer Sierra getaway so you can venture off into the wilderness for a few days, then a great solution is the Mammoth Mountain Summer Camp.
Available to kids 8–15 years old, this all-inclusive five-day sleep away camp will really spark the outdoor love in any kid. Campers stay in tent cabins at historic Camp High located just off Lake Mary Road and get to enjoy all that the Eastern Sierra has to offer – hiking, fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, mountain biking at Mammoth Mountain’s renowned bike park, an overnight camping trip, and field trips to nearby attractions, such as Devils Postpile.

The ski resort offers care for newborns and up at its state-licensed facilities. With two convenient locations—The Village at Mammoth, as well as inside Mammoth Mountain Inn across from the resort’s Main Lodge base area—you can hit the slopes knowing your little ones are in the good hands of certified teachers.
The Village location offers evening care on weekends and holidays, which makes it easy to drop off the kids and make your date night reservation, or attend one of the numerous events happening right there on The Village Plaza.
If you’re planning to get your little guys started on the hill, the mountain has a Child Care + Lesson Package available for kids 3-4 year olds that includes morning ski instruction followed by lunch, rest and playtime in the and afternoon back at the daycare. Ski equipment is available for rent, and you can book the package with or without rentals.

Longtime local Karen Fiebiger has been offering child care for all kids of ages from her team of CPR and first aid certified sitters during weddings and other family-friendly events for over 15 years.
