Swimming

Horseshoe Lake:
The only lake in the Lakes Basin where swimming is permitted. The other lakes supplies the town's domestic drinking water. Follow Main Street to Lake Mary Road. Continue to the end. Remember, the lake is created by melting snow. Please observe the warning signs for C02 gas emissions in the Horseshoe Lake area.

 

Whitmore Pool:
Whitmore Pool is fed by natural hot springs, the pool has a 360-degree view of the Eastern Sierra. The facility includes a six lane 25-meter pool, Children's wading pool, restrooms, hot showers, lawn area, BBQ and vending machines. The pool is open from approximately mid-June through early September. There is a nominal fee per person. The facility is available for private use by reservation. Located off Benton Crossing Road (Green Church) about a mile from Hwy. 395. For more information

Snowcreek Athletic Club:
Snowcreek Athletic Club has the privilege of offering both an outdoor and indoor pool for a leisurely family swim. Open to members and to non-members for a nominal fee. For more information
