Celebrate Opening Season 2009/10 with the Big Winter Kick Off! The party starts at 7PM with a DJ, Beer Garden, then at 8PM premier of "Hot Laps" Snowboard film on the big screen! HOT LAPS is a new snowboard movie coming out this fall that the crew at Mammoth spent the last year producing. It is filmed 100% in and around Mammoth, so the movie really gives you a good idea of the incredible amount of terrain there is not only on Mammoth Mountain, but all around this area. The video features all of the riders on the Mammoth Unbound pro team and their friends. One of the coolest things about the video is that it’s going to be distributed free in the Superpark issue of Snowboarder Magazine, dropping late December/early January. To get a taste of what they are preparing, check out www.playbigproductions.com While you're in the Village, check out "I Am Snowboarding", a collaborative art project which celebrates the life of Jeff Anderson and his friends. More than forty of the snowboarding community's most high-profile artists, athletes and friends have contributed to this awesome collection of comissioned work. Opening reception with photographers and artists from six to nine pm. Continue partying late into the evening at Canyon Lodge with the SHINY TOY GUNS live on stage, a DJ, and great drink specials!
