MMSA-BusThe Mammoth Transit System winter service (November 18, 2011 through May 28, 2012) offers a convenient, fun, and friendly alternative to getting around Mammoth. Passengers ride for free on all fixed routes in Town. The Dial-A-Ride service requires a fare and is available to all riders, with priority given to special needs passengers, Whether for work or play, we have a ride for you!

Purple Line:
The Purple Line bus operates 7-days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with stops every 30 minutes. This route runs from Vons to The Village with stops by Mammoth Hospital, Mammoth Lakes Library, Mammoth Mountain RV Park and the California Welcome Center.

The Gray Line:
The Gray Line bus operates 7-days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with stops every 30 minutes. This route originates at Vons and serves the Mammoth College campus, Mammoth Hospital Mammoth Lakes Library, and terminates in Old Mammoth at Red Fir Road.

Night Trolley:
Trolley%20VillageThe distinctive red and green Town Trolley (dark red line) operates 7-nights a week from 5:40 p.m to 2:00 a.m. with stops every 20 minutes. Service from Canyon Lodge to the Village then along Main Street and Old Mammoth Rd with the route terminating at Snowcreek Athletic Club.

Evening Hospitality Shuttle - Pink Line:
Guests staying in Mammoth wishing to shop and dine in the evening can now ride the complimentary evening Hospitality Shuttle, designated as the pink line.  The evening Hospitality Shuttle operates 7-nights a week from 6:00 p.m. to midnight departing The Village at Red Line Stop #18 to the Mammoth Mountain Inn on the hour.  The Hospitality Shuttle departs Mammoth Mountain Inn 15 minutes past the hour, The Village Lodge & Village/Canyon Blvd., at the bottom of the hour, Juniper Springs Resort 40 minutes past the hour, and Vons (Old Mammoth Rd & Meridian Blvd), Stop #9 at 50 minutes past the hour.

Dogs
Leashed and muzzled dogs are allowed on the Night Trolley, Purple line, Gray line, Dial-a-Ride and CREST Services. Dogs are not allowed on Mammoth Area Shuttles (Red line, Blue line, Yellow line, Green line, Orange line and Evening Hospitality Shuttle).

All routes, times and days of operation are subject to change.

Commencement and termination of winter transit service is dependent on Mammoth Mountain's winter operations.

The door-to-door Dial-a-Ride services the Town of Mammoth Lakes, including the Mammoth Mountain Main Lodge.  Service to the Mammoth Yosemite airport is available for disabled passengers weekdays from 8:00am to 6:00pm and weekends from 9:00am to 6:00pm.  Service available after 6:00pm for ADA Paratransit Eligible riders with 24-hours advance notice.  Call 760-924-3184 for reservations.

Eastern Sierra Transit Authority: operates service between Reno (airport and Greyhound station) and Mammoth Lakes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and between Lancaster (Metrolink station) and Mammoth Lakes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. These routes operate in all weather and, as long as the road is open the bus will go.  These routes can provide a valuable travel alternative for air-travelers whose plans are affected by weather related delays.
