Road Conditions

Current Road Conditions: July 28, 2014
 

***TRAVEL ALERT*** The El Portal Fire in Yosemite National Park started at approximately 3:15pm on July 26th and has now burned approximately 2,100 acres. The Big Oak Flat Road between Crane Flat and the El Portal Road is temporarily CLOSED.

Tioga Road and Tioga Pass (Hwy 120) remains OPEN. Yosemite Valley is only accessible through Hwy 140 and 41. To get to Yosemite Valley from the East Entrance via Tioga Road: Continue west on Hwy 120 towards Groveland. Turn left on Hwy 49 and head south. Then take a left on Hwy 140 and head east into Yosemite Valley. (You can also continue south on Hwy 49 and then take a left on Hwy 41 and head east into Yosemite Valley)
